RCN Cable customers in Chicago who tuned into WMAQ this morning may have been surprised to see a Spanish-language program instead of the “Today” show on the NBC-owned station. The “Today” feed was interrupted for the first ten minutes of the show beginning at 7 a.m.
A WMAQ spokesperson tells TVSpy that the broadcast issues were specific to RCN and were caused by a technical glitch on the cable company’s end.
