Siafa Lewis has been named lead sports anchor for Chicago NBC-owned station WMAQ.
Lewis, who anchors sports at 5, 6 and 10 p.m., came to the station in May 2014 from WNBC in New York. He also co-hosts its Sports Sunday show.
“Siafa has been an integral member of our team since joining us in 2014. We are thrilled to have him anchor our weeknight sportscasts alongside news anchors Rob Stafford and Allison Rosati,” said station manager and vp of News Frank Whittaker.

He started his carer as a traffic reporter for NBC-owned WCAU in Philadelphia.
