WLS Names Curtis Miles VP of Creative Services

Curtis Miles will join Chicago ABC O&O, WLS, as vice president of creative services and local programming.

Miles, who replaces former creative services VP Tom Hebel, comes to WLS from ABC owned WTVD in Raleigh-Durham, NC.  WLS general manager John Idler came to WLS from WTVD in June.

“Curtis has been a tremendous asset for WTVD and we are excited to welcome him to the ABC 7 team,” said Idler. “I’ve worked with Curtis for many years and have been able to observe first-hand his outstanding creative instincts, his keen ability to advance a television stations brand and his leadership within the station.”
