KFDX weekend meteorologist Eric Jeansonne announced Thursday he will be trading Wichita Falls, Texas for Biloxi and WLOX.
“This is a very bittersweet goodbye,” Jeansonne wrote on Facebook. “I wouldn’t be telling the truth if I said I wasn’t teary-eyed posting this. But, it is time now to move a little closer to home. I’ve been given a great opportunity to forecast along the gulf coast.”
Jeansonne joined the “Texoma” NBC affiliate four years ago, and will leave for WLOX, an ABC and CBS affiliate, at the end of the month. “It’s been a wonderful time here and I can’t thank everyone enough. And no matter what they say, Texoma will always have the most beautiful sunsets.”
