Derrick Lewis says he’s joining WKBN as a video journalist.
Lewis last worked as a freelancer for MSNBC. He also worked at the now-defunct TV3 in Winchester, Va.
“I’m really excited about getting back into local news,” Lewis told TVSpy. “Sometimes it takes a brief break to realize to how much you really enjoy something, and I’ve learned that journalism is where my heart is.”

His first day at the Youngstown, Ohio CBS affiliate is next Tuesday, January 20.
