WJLA Only Showing Plane Crash Documentary Online

Washington, D.C. ABC affiliate WJLA is showing a documentary produced by station staffers exclusively online.

“Diverted: TWA 514” is a 27 minute documentary available on the station’s website.

“This is the first time WJLA has produced a quality documentary exclusively for our website,” said Mitch Jacob, WJLA’s news director. “And we have received such favorable feedback from this manner of storytelling, that it certainly won’t be the last.”

“Diverted: TWA 514” showcases never-before-seen crash site photographs and powerful stories from victims’ family members. And, it offers a deeper understanding of just how much safer we are while flying today due to those who lost their lives on a remote hillside in Northern Virginia in the Fall of 1974.
