Miami’s MundoFox affiliate WJAN was the big winner at the 36th Annual Suncoast Emmy Awards over the weekend.
While NBC owned station WTVJ took home the award for the region’s best evening newscast for its 11 p.m.news, WJAN dominated the rest of the competition, taking home statues for Feature News Report – Serious Series, Best Crime Reporting, Best Single Spot News Promotion, Best Campaign News Promotion, Best Campaign Program Promotion as well as winning Best News Producer, Best On-Camera Reporter and Best Non-News Program Writer in the craft section of the awards.
