Morning anchor Hannah Jeffries has said goodbye to Greenville, N.C. NBC affiliate WITN.
Jeffries explained on Facebook that her decision to leave local TV was based on her religious beliefs.
“Three years and three promotions later, I found myself unable to recognize the person in the mirror,” said Jeffries. “I had become prideful, arrogant and joyless. I was basing my identity solely on my career. I was fighting an internal battle that only the Lord could help me overcome.”

She went on to say she’s starting a Christian women’s podcast, called Tell me your Testimony that will launch in February of 2023.
