San Antonio ABC affiliate KSAT has announced Adam Caskey will be the meteorologist on the 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts when he joins the station. Caskey replaces Steve Browne (pictured), who will remain on the 10 p.m. newscast.
“Father time and constant deadline pressure was taking a toll leaving me with the realization that it is time to ask for help,” Browne wrote on the KSAT website. “…I will have more time to pursue other interests. I am not retiring, just stepping back. I truly believe this is a win win situation for all involved and look forward to the future.”
Caskey joins KSAT after 11 years at WJLA. Browne has worked at the station since 1992.
