WGN Promotes Reporter to Weekend Anchor and Politics Beat

By Kevin Eck

Tahman Bradley has been named weekend evening anchor and political reporter at WGN. He’ll anchor the 5 and 9 p.m. newscasts.

Bradley has been working as a general assignment reporter at the Chicago Tribune-owned station since 2015. He replaces Robert Jordan, who recently retired after 43 years in Chicago television news.

“Tahman is one of Chicago’s Very Own, with a national news background,” said news director Jennifer Lyons. “His depth and breadth of journalism, paired with his experience in Washington make him the ideal candidate to be our Weekend News anchor and WGN News political reporter.”

Before he joined WGN, Bradley was an ABC News correspondent based out of Washington, D.C.
