WFXL Expands Morning Newscast to Four Hours

By Andrew Gauthier

WFXL has added an extra hour to its morning newscast, bringing it from three hours to four. The Fox-affiliate’s “Good Day” show now airs weekdays from 5 to 9 a.m.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to bring more local content to the Southwest Georgia community,” said WFXL assistant news director Jenna McWilliams. “‘Good Day’ now has more time to share with the viewers just what’s going on in our own backyards.”

WFXL’s morning team includes anchor January Keaton, meteorologist Chris Nisinger, and reporter-producer Melanie Kendall.
