WFTV in Orlando Adding 4 p.m. Newscast

By Merrill Knox

Orlando ABC affiliate WFTV is adding a 4 p.m. newscast next month, the Orlando Sentinel‘s Hal Boedeker reports.

The newscast will replace “The Dr. Oz Show,” which will shift an hour earlier to 3 p.m. on weekdays. Steve Harvey’s program, which airs at 3 p.m., will move to the 9 a.m. timeslot, replacing Jeff Probst’s canceled talk show.

The half-hour newscast will be anchored by Bob Opsahl (pictured) and Martie Salt, with meteorologist Tom Terry. It debuts on June 10.
