WFLD Moving Corey McPherrin to Noon News

By Kevin Eck

TVSpy has learned Corey McPherrin will be moving from anchor of “Good Day Chicago” to solo anchor of the Noon show for Chicago FOX owned station WFLD.

The move is supposed to take place in December with McPherrin also reporting for the station’s 9:00 p.m. newscast.

WFLD has seen some recent changes to its morning show. Last week, Anna Davlantes announced she was leaving the station and a couple of days later a new morning team was announced with Melody Mendez joining the station from Denver’s KDVR and Jon Kelley coming from KNTV in the San Francisco Bay Area.
