Last week, Evansville, Ind., NBC affiliate WFIE put a promo on Facebook telling viewers a new addition to the weather team was on its way. Today, we find out the station has a new SUV it’s calling The Interceptor and a new meteorologist, Krista McEnany.
“It’s moving live shot remote toggles control between the windshield camera, talent camera, and rooftop camera – which has a 360-degree motion, so you won’t miss a second of fast approaching storms,” says the station.

McEnany comes from Purdue where she got a BS in Meteorology and a BA in Acting.
