WFAA Weekend AM Anchor Leaving Station

By Kevin Eck

Carla Wade is leaving Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA after three years.

Unclebarky.com reports Wade’s contract wasn’t renewed.

We reported earlier, Barky also said Wade had been removed as an anchor, but may be required to continue reporting until her contract officially expires. WFAA news director Carolyn Mungo tells TVSpy, that was incorrect, Wade was on vacation last weekend. We apologize for the error.

Before working at WFAA, Wade worked at KOCO in Oklahoma City, Okla. She’s also worked at WTVQ in Lexington, Ky., KATV in Little Rock, Ark. and KSWO in Lawton, Okla.
