WEWS anchor Leon Bibb headed to Washington, DC this week for a sit-down with President Obama.
Bibb writes a detailed behind-the-scenes account of his trip to the White House on the WEWS website. The President teased the Cleveland-area anchor, asking, “You guys in Cleveland over that Lebron thing yet?”
The WEWS interview was part of a continued push by the White House to localize their message. The last round of local news interviews granted by the administration was in April.
