Jonathan Beaton says he’s leaving West Palm Beach CBS affiliate WPEC to start his own public relations firm.
“While I enjoyed my time working in media,” said Beaton. “I’m excited to bring my skills and talents into the PR world. Both areas are truly fascinating and I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my career.”
His company is called Inside Advantage PR and is based in Orlando, Fla. He’ll focus on media relations, social media management and crisis communications.

Before coming to WPEC in 2014, Beaton worked at WDBO radio.
