Well, At Least Cleveland Beat SF in the Ratings

Last night’s game one of the NBA Finals brought big ratings to the two markets with teams left to duke it out for the championship.

WEWS in Cleveland, home of the Cavaliers, drew a 41.4 rating, while ABC owned station KGO, in the SF market, home of the Golden State Warriors, pulled a 28.9.

ABC says last night’s OT win for the Warriors was the highest-rated NBA Finals Game One ever on ABC.

ABC wrote in its press release, “It is expected that the NBA Finals will win the night across television for the 43rd consecutive time.”

Game Two is on ABC this Sunday at 8:00pmET.
