David Hughes has been named news director for Roanoke, Va. CBS affiliate WDBJ.
Hughes starts Monday, July 11 and replaces Kelly Zuber who announced her retirement in April.
He comes from WFLA in Tampa, Fla. where he is executive producer. Hughes worked at WRAL in Raleigh, N.C. and WMAZ in Macon, Georgia before that.
