Boston ABC affiliate WCVB and Knoxville NBC affiliate WBIR are the winners of this year’s Edward R. Murrow awards for overall excellence, the RTDNA announced today.

Hearst’s WCVB won in the large market category and Gannett’s WBIR won in the small market category. Both stations will be presented with their awards at the Marriott Marquis in New York City this fall.

WTVR in Richmond won three Murrows. KARE in Minneapolis, WFAA in Dallas and WVUE in New Orleans each won two. KOKI, WMBD, WJLA, WVIR, WCPO, KETV, WGRZ, KCET, KING, WSBT, WXIA, KJRH, WJXT, UNM PantherVision and Oregon Public Broadcasting each won one.
