Boston ABC affiliate WCVB has added Shaun Chaiyabhat as a general assignment reporter
He comes from WKMG in Orlando, Fla., where he’s been a reporter and fill-in anchor since August 2010.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Shaun to our NewsCenter 5 team,” said WCVB president and gm, Bill Fine. “His keen journalistic skills and innate ability to connect with people will be an asset to WCVB’s winning team of local journalists.”

He started his career at WCIA in Champaign, Illinois before moving on to WREG in Memphis, Tenn.
