WCMH GM Dan Bradley Retiring from Media General

WCMH_logoAfter 40 years in broadcast journalism, Dan Bradley is set to retire. Currently the vice president and general manager at WCMH in Columbus, Ohio, Bradley has spent the past 35 years at Media General.

He joined the company in 1979 as a photographer at WFLA in Tampa. Bradley would spend 20 years at the NBC affiliate, working his way up the ladder to news director. Prior to joining WCMH, Bradley was the vice president of news for all of Media General’s stations based in Richmond. At WCMH Bradley served as director of digital journalism and content before being named GM in 2010.

“Dan has had a truly stellar career in broadcast television, and we will miss him,” says Deb McDermott, senior vice president of broadcast markets for Media General. “We will conduct a search for a successor to Dan in the coming months.”

Bradley will officially retire December 31.
