WCCO Reporter Leaving TV to Work at Local School District

WCCO reporter Ashley Roberts says she’s leaving local TV for the communications department at the Shakopee Public School District.

“My new path will allow for professional growth in a management position,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “I am beyond excited.”

Before joining the Minneapolis CBS-owned station in November 2014, Roberts worked at WVTM in Birmingham, Ala.
