Liam Martin has been officially announced as anchor of the WSBK 10:00 p.m. newscast.
Martin will join Paula Ebben at 10:00 p.m. He’ll report for Boston CBS-owned station WBZ‘s 11:00 p.m. news Monday through Thursday, then co-anchor on WBZ Sunday nights at 6:30 and 11:00 p.m. alongside Kate Merrill.
“I grew up watching WBZ, and I’m now incredibly honored to join one of the more storied local news organizations in the country,” said Martin. “I can’t wait to get started.”

Martin comes to WBZ from Boston ABC affiliate WCVB. He’s also worked at WILX in Lansing, Mich.
