Mike Hydeck will leave WUSA for hometown station.
The morning anchor at CBS-owned Tegna station in Washington D.C. is from Connecticut and is a former anchor at WFSB.
According to The Laurel, Hydeck is heading to the NBC Connecticut station, WVIT.

While the his exact position has not been defined yet Hydeck will be on the air in late October.
