The Fort Wayne Journal Gazzette is reporting, WANE reporter Megan Reust, who was arrested on suspicion of DUI over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, has been handed a 180-day suspended jail sentence.
The reporter for the Fort Wayne, IN, CBS affiliate pleaded guilty to a Class B misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. She had been charged with two misdemeanor counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated in addition to speeding, which is an infraction.
Court officials told the Journal Gazzette Reust’s license has not been suspended.
