Walt Gray Back on Sacramento TV News

By Kevin Eck

Walt Gray announced yesterday he will join Sacramento ABC affiliate KXTV as weekend morning anchor.

“Walt is one of Sacramento’s best known and most respected news anchors,” KXTV news director Jerome Parra said in a statement. “He’s done it all. He is a trusted voice and an accomplished storyteller. He adds even greater depth to News10’s accomplished team of anchors and reporters.”

Gray left the rival NBC affiliate KCRA last year to host his own show on local radio station 96.9 “The Eagle.” He was one of a number of people laid off from “The Eagle” in July.
