Viewers of WENY bent the Elmira, NY ABC affiliate’s twitter feed after the station cut away from the last six minutes of the World Cup final to air a tornado warning.
The big match between Germany and Argentina was decided while WENY was warning viewers about possible tornadoes in the area.
Viewers complained loudly over Twitter, but the station had some support on facebook.
