While interviewing neighbors of a murdered elderly woman, KTVK reporter Stacey Delikat spoke with a man now suspected of committing the crime (video above).
Police arrested Michael Franklin Jr. last Thursday, believing that he stabbed the woman in an attempted robbery. Saying that he was surprised by the murder, Franklin told Delikat a week before his arrest that he used to do yard work for the woman and described her as “sweet.”

Remarkably, a similar situation happened last month when a man spoke with a KTUL news crew about a double homicide that he is now suspected of committing.
