Veteran reporter Kris Kirschner left Indianapolis NBC affiliate WTHR on Friday.
“This was completely my decision,” Kirschner told the Indianapolis Business Journal “This is one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make.”
“In the 27 years I’ve spent in broadcasting (19 of those at WTHR!),” Kirschner wrote on her Facebook page. “I’ve had some amazing, wonderful, disappointing, frustrating, joyful, unique experiences. It’s not always been easy. But it’s always been interesting.”
