Local television news anchor Deborah Linz is joining acting Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin’s administration as his press secretary.
Linz anchors WCHS and WVAH‘s joint nightly newscasts. She confirmed her new position Friday evening in an e-mail.

Linz, a Virginia Tech graduate, began her TV career in Roanoke, Va. as a noon weather anchor and medical reporter, according to her biography on the WCHS website. More…
