Susan Koeppen will return to the KDKA anchor desk next week, two months after undergoing surgery to repair a faulty heart valve.
Koppen, who anchors the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts at the Pittsburgh CBS O&O, suffered cardiac arrest in November. The surgery in March was the last part of repair work for her congenital heart problem, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Beginning next Monday, Koeppen will return to the anchor desk at 6 p.m. She plans to to return to anchoring both the 6 and the 11 p.m. newscasts on May 28.
