Liz Bryant, the Tulsa reporter who quit her job in March to hike the Pacific Coast Trail, has gotten where she wanted ot go.
“I MADE IT TO CANADA!” Bryant posted on her Facebook page.
The former KJRH reporter says that since much of the Washington portion was shut down by wildfires, she was forced to drive to the finish. “Can I still say I hiked the PCT?” she writes. “My conclusion is: it’s not the destination, it’s the journey and what I’ve learned on this trip and who I’ve met will be my forever souvenir.”

In March, Bryant told viewers on her blog, she was making the trek because “I never want to look back in ten years and regret one second of my life.”
