Tribune Offering Buyouts at Its Stations

Tribune has begun offering buyouts to employees at all of its local stations.

“We are always looking to operate as efficiently as possible, and we are doing more and more across our TV stations with technology,” a Tribune spokesperson told TVSpy. “I can confirm a small number of employees at our stations have been offered voluntary buy-outs.

While tipsters have told us the buyouts are being offered, we still don’t know what the station group is offering or if anyone has taken Tribune up on the offer yet. We’ll update when we know.
