WGCL is undergoing a change in direction. TVSpy just confirmed Trey Fabacher, GM of WGCL, has left the station. Meredith wouldn’t say when he left or why.
This comes on the heels of confirming that the Atlanta CBS affiliate has hired Larry Perret as news director to replace Lane Michaelsen who left the station in July.
Fabacher came to WGCL from WWJ in Detroit in September 2012. He has also worked at KSTW in Seattle and WCCO and KSTP in Minneapolis, Minn.
