Travis Ruiz is leaving Amarillo, Texas ABC affiliate KVII.
“It is with a grateful heart that I announce tomorrow is my final day at KVII,” Ruiz wrote on his Facebook page. “With that said, I am proud to announce I will be joining a station in Abilene as News Director. I am excited for new opportunities and adventure.”
Ruiz came to KVII from KXRM in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2014.
