Transgender Fistfight Erupts Near KENS Live Truck

By Merrill Knox

“This whole thing unfolded right in front of our eyes as we were sitting in our live truck,” KENS reporter Marvin Hurst said of a fistfight that erupted near his crew yesterday (video above). “This scuffle turned into a knock-down, drag-out fight between two transgender individuals in a convenience store parking lot this morning.”

The fistfight, which took place around 4 a.m. Monday morning and was captured by a KENS photographer, resulted in an arrest by the San Antonio police.

“You can see just how close they were coming to our live truck,” Hurst said. “It is unclear why they were fighting — witnesses gave us several different reasons — but we can confirm that there was an argument that escalated into this: a pounding fist repeatedly going into someone’s face.”
