Whitney Drolen, early morning traffic reporter at KTVT in Dallas, resigned from the CBS-owned station on Friday.
“I’m always grateful for the opportunities I have been given,” Drolen told Uncle Barky’s Bytes. “However, I’m really looking forward to the next chapter. A chapter that I feel will be much more healthy for me emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally.”
Before joining KTVT in the summer of 2012, Drolen worked at CBS-owned KCBS-KCAL in Los Angeles.

Lori Conrad, director of communications at KTVT, explained to Uncle Barky’s Bytes that Drolen “told us that she has decided to leave the (TV) business.”
There’s no word yet on who will replace her.
