Tired Looking Fugitive Asks TV Station for Better Picture in Wanted Post

By Kevin Eck

An Australian woman who was on the run after escaping from a correctional facility down under was nabbed after she objected to the photos a TV station used in its Facebook post asking for the public’s help in finding her.

In the post, Amy Sharp is pictured wearing a blanket, looking she just woke up.

“Amy was last seen running west on Riley Street at Surry Hills,” read the post. “She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 162cm tall, with light brown hair and of slim build. Amy is considered a low risk to the public and was in custody for property offences.”

Police arrested Sharp one day after she posted the comment.
