Tim Redmond Named Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Fox O&Os

Fox Television has named Tim Redmond vice president of engineering and operations for its 27 owned-and-0perated stations.

Redmond, who is currently vice president of engineering at Fox Detroit O&O WJBK, will report to Betsy Swanson, the company’s executive vice president of technical operations and CFO. He will oversee the planning and execution of relevant technologies at the Fox stations.

“I’m very enthused about joining the talented engineering team at FTS, a group that has been on the forefront of advances in our industry,” Redmond said in a statement.

Redmond replaces Earl Arbuckle, who was senior vice president of engineering at the Fox stations. He passed away in August.
