Just two months after the announcement of her hire at Al Jazeera America, Morgan Fogarty is returning to WCCB in Charlotte.
“Fogarty said the idea of going to New York seemed like the right thing to do but she came to the decision with her husband, Jeremy, to return to Charlotte,” WCCB said in a statement. “She is excited to re-unite with her colleagues at WCCB.”
Fogarty was a New York City based anchor for Al Jazeera America, which launched August 20. She returns to the CW affiliate in her old role as co-anchor of the 10 p.m. newscast, alongside Christine Noel and Kirk Hawkins.
