Thomas Drayton is leaving WTXF, the Fox O&O in Philadelphia. The news of Drayton’s last broadcast was announced this morning on “Good Day Philadelphia.”

“It has been a pleasure. You guys are unbelievable, talented, wonderful to work with,” Drayton told “Good Day” anchors Mike Jerrick and Sheinelle Jones.

Drayton joined the station in 2008 from KTXL, the Fox affiliate in Sacramento. He anchored WTXF’s 5 and 10 p.m. newscasts before shifting to mornings to anchor from 4:30 to 6 a.m. earlier this year.
