‘The Water Came Up So Quick. It Looks Like We Lost Everything.’

Seven years to the day that Hurricane Katrina devastated parts of Louisiana and Mississippi, local stations are once again in the thick of Hurricane coverage as Isaac continues to bear down. New Orleans stations WWL, WDSU, WGNO and WVUE have been in rolling coverage since Tuesday.

Here’s a look at how some of the stations covered the Hurricane, including this clip from CBS affiliate WWL-TV as anchors spoke live with a man trapped in his attic along with his wife and his baby.

WVUE (FOX) meteorologist Chris Franklin gave viewers updates on flooding in the area and Isaac’s progress:
