TV news reporters and anchors at this week’s Republican National Convention are facing a dilemma: the no aerosol policy at the RNC means hairspray is being abandoned at the Secret Service checkpoint. One local newser here told us hers was confiscated Monday. While it’s been a hot week here in Cleveland, the humidity has not been intolerable ensuring one hairspray application in the morning should keep things together. But I’m no expert.
There’s also a whole fruit ban for incoming attendees: no bananas, or apples, etc. Thankfully for us, Rep. Marsha Blackburn was handing out Tennessee’s finest Goo Goo Clusters on the floor of the Quicken Loans Arena. That was enough to tide us over until dinner at the CNN Grill Wednesday.
