Corpus Christi ABC affiliate KIII held a Drug Take Back Day Saturday.
Working with the DEA, the station participated in a national event where people could drop off prescription medicine.
The National Drug Prescription Drug Take-Back Day “aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications,” writes the DEA on its website.
