KBTX anchor-reporter, Kathleen Witte, says an apartment fire left her with burns all over her body.
She talked about the incident that happened a couple weeks ago on the station’s newscast yesterday.
FTVLive first reported the story when Witte was seriously burned after she tried to put out a wax fire.

“The fire and flaming wax exploded onto me. It was, quite easily, the most terrifying moment of my life,” said Witte during the story.
Witte is expected to return to work at Gray Media owned CBS affiliate in Mclean, Texas soon.
