The IBJ syas Mackin, who has most recently been reporting on the morning news, is one of many who have left the station in the last 18 months since it lost its CBS affiliation.

In the last 18 months, WISH also has parted ways with anchor Eric Halvorson, news director Steve Bray, investigative reporters Karen Hensel and Troy Kehoe, meteorologist Pamela Gardener, and reporters and back-up anchors Dustin Grove, Jessica Hayes and Daniel Miller.

Despite losing its CBS affiliation in January 2015, WISH has remained competitive in the city’s ultra-competitive TV news ratings war, holding onto third place in some local news slots in the five-station local TV news market.
