Ariel Rivera Vazquez is joining Telemundo Denver as a weather anchor for its 4:30 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Rivera will work alongside Pamela Padilla, Guillermo Martinez and sports anchor Carlos Rausseo on Wednesday, Dec. 9.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ariel to Telemundo Denver,” said Telemundo Denver news director Pedro Calderon Michel. “Ariel’s experience in working in severe weather climates coupled with his straightforward forecasts, will help our communities stay ahead of any weather changes that can affect them.”

Since 2003, Rivera has worked at WAPA TV as an anchor and reporter. Before that, he was a freelance reporter for CNN en Español and WIAC Radio Puerto Rico.
