Pedro Castro-Amaré has been named sports anchor of Noticiero Telemundo Boston for Telemundo Boston (WNEU).
Castro-Amaré comes from Telemundo Miami 51 (WSCV) where he was the weekend sports anchor and co-host of Puro Beisbol. Before that, he was a radio announcer and news editor for Univision American radio network.
“The Boston area is one of the most dynamic sports markets in the country and Pedro’s positive energy, coupled with his palpable passion for sports, will ensure that our viewers receive the best sports content and coverage possible,” said vp of News Kenny Plotnik.
