Richard J. Dyer has been named GM of TEGNA’s CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C. WUSA.
Dyer starts January 2 and replaces Mark Burdett, who’s worked at the station since February 2012.

He comes from WLWT in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before that, he was GM of KETV in Omaha, Neb. and was corporate vice president of television sales within TEGNA Media.
